Concho Community Council

Your representative body for economic and community development

The Concho Community Council is a nonprofit organization in the formation stages that will be the new driving force in Concho for the residents. The goal of the organization is to bring residents together to voice needs, concerns, volunteer and help out around the community. By coming together, we can accomplish great works within our region.

How It Works

The Community Council will be incorporated as a non-profit organization, eligible for 501(c)3 exemption. Once incorporated, membership will be open to all residents and property owners in Concho. Membership fees will be per adult person, and give each member who is a resident a vote for their district council member. These members, a total of 7, will elect a chairman, vice chairman, secretary and treasurer. The council will hold monthly meetings to discuss matters of concern, offer mediation on issues and raise funding for community works. Such community efforts will aim to enhance Concho and support the other organizations in the community in any way possible.

How To Join

Once the organization is formed, we will contact residents to hold an open meeting to discuss the council, districts and provide information to the people. Membership applications will be available online here once ready. Your dues will be annual and not tax deductible. You may make contributions for community efforts through Concho CAN or the Lions Club.

This district map is representative of the proposed districts for the Community Council. These districts follow the school district lines with districts based on area and population. These lines are subject to change in the future. If you are unsure where your district lies, contact us for more information. There are 6 districts with one council member and one member at large.

The Council Page will be updated after incorporation.
